Hardware R&D – Freelance Development Engineer
I provide freelance hardware R&D support for projects that combine electronics with control, sensing, mechanics, or optics. My work spans analog and digital design, embedded systems, control systems, motor control, signal processing, optics, and vibration analysis. I focus on practical system-level solutions, particularly where good results depend on seeing the interaction between multiple disciplines.
You can call or message me at 079 663 7262, or martin@melzer.ch
I founded Melzer GmbH in Canton Zug, Switzerland. My background is in electrical engineering with over 20 years of hands-on experience across electronics, mechatronics, control systems, and measurement technology — in industrial, medical, and consumer product contexts.
I work as a senior engineer on defined projects or as a complement to your team. My strength is system-level thinking across disciplines — seeing how electronics, mechanics, control, and sensing interact — and translating that into concrete architecture and working solutions.
